Security Forces Determined to Hunt Down Terrorists: DG ISPR

Rawalpindi: Director General ISPR Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry stated that the security forces have absolute clarity and resolve to hunt down terrorists everywhere. He made this declaration during a media briefing in Rawalpindi concerning recent incidents of terrorism in Balochistan.

According to Radio Pakistan, Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry revealed that terrorists of Fitna al-Hindustan are targeting innocent civilians in the province. In recent terrorist incidents, fifty-four Khawarij were killed, while forty-two individuals, including brave civilians and valiant personnel of the Balochistan Police, embraced martyrdom.

The Director General ISPR emphasized that security forces are actively conducting operations to completely eliminate terrorist threats. He accused India and other adversaries of Pakistan of being behind these terrorist activities, asserting that they are unable to accept Pakistan's stability, prosperity, and honour. Chaudhry further alleged that the terrorists are utilizing territory under the Afghan Taliban's control as a base of operations, with the Taliban providing facilitation and manpower.

Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry remarked that these terrorist elements are frustrated due to the impending repatriation of all illegal Afghan nationals from Pakistan. He reaffirmed the armed forces' unwavering commitment to combating terrorism, stating that they are resolved to take on every terrorist and facilitator without any distinction.
