Bannu: Security forces have killed eight Khwarij terrorists during two separate intelligence-based operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, an intelligence-based operation was conducted in the Baka Khel area of Bannu District on the reported presence of Khwarij. During the operation, troops effectively engaged the terrorists’ location, resulting in the death of five militants and the injury of nine others.
In the Baka Khel operation, Sepoy Iftikhar Hussain was killed. Another operation in the Shagai area of Khyber District resulted in the deaths of three Khwarij and the apprehension of two. Captain Muhammad Zohaib Ud Din, who led his troops, was killed during the intense fire exchange.
These individuals were involved in numerous attacks against security forces and civilians. Sanitization operations are ongoing to eliminate any remaining threats in the area. The security forces of Pakistan remain committed to eradicating terrorism, with the sacrifices of their soldiers reinforcing their determination.
