Seerat Conference held at Pakistan Ordnance Factories

Islamabad, January 28, 2013 (PPI-OT): A Seerat Conference titled “Present Era and Seerat ul Nabi” held at POF under the auspices of POF administration in which prominent religious scholars of the country participated. Lt Gen Muhammad Ahsan Mahmood, HI(M) was the Chief Guest while Maulana Muhammad Rafi Usmani presided over the conference.

Addressing on this occasion Maulana Rafi Usmani said that Pakistan was achieved on the name of Islam but it is unfortunate that we failed to keep abreast our generations about the ideology of Pakistan that is why our country has fallen a prey to religious hatred and sectarianism.

He further remarked that it was the need of hour to tell the youth about two nation theory and it should be disseminated through media and educational institutions. Addressing the participants of conference Allama Kokab Nourani said that the only solution for positive change in the society rests upon practical implementation of Seerat-ul- Nabi which is the only source of our salvation.

Doctor Anees Ahmad said that Seerat Tayyaba offers solution of all problems of this era and by following it we can find prosperity. The purpose of Islamic economy is not to add wealth but it should be spent for the welfare of human beings.

In the concluding remarks Lt Gen Muhammad Ahsan Mahmood, HI(M) said that Seerat Tayyaba is the guideline for us till the end of this world. POF Chairman further remarked that Holy Quran and Sunnat Nabvi are complete codes of life and there would be no change in this theory and we can get success by following the guiding principles of Islam.

It is high time to understand and implement these principles of Islam in true letter and spirit in our practical life. In the end, POF Chairman thanked all participating ullemas who benefited the audience by delivering thoughtful lectures.
