Session Judge Malir Imdad Hussain Khoso with Magistrates visited District Jail Malir 11 Prisoners Released
Karachi: Under the new Judicial Policy of the Supreme Court of Pakistan (SCP), the District and Session Judge Malir Imdad Hussain Khoso and Judicial Magistrates Muhammad Ashfaq Mughal, Abdul Qayyum Syed, Muhammad Aslam Sheikh, PS to DJ Malir Zubair Bin Mehmood, General Secretary Saiban Haider Ali Haider and Joint Secretary Fateh Muhammad Qureshi visited District Jail Malir. Superintendent Syed Nazir Hussain Shah Deputy Superintendent Ali Bux Sheikh, Assistant Superintendent Kamal Bukhari and other jail officials and Altaf Khosa Advocate were present on the occasion.
He went round various barracks, met the prisoners and acquired about the details of ongoing cases in various courts. He met the prisoners in barracks and listened to their problems and assured them of speedy justice. On the occasion large number of prisoners presented applications for an early hearing of their cases while many submitted applications for review of the court decisions. During his visit to various barracks, some such prisoners informed the judge that they have completed their sentence but are in jail because of inability to pay the fined amount. The Chairman Saiban, Haq Nawaz Akhtar paid the amount of the fines, Travelling expenses and got them released including other one Prisoner who given relaxation few days, thus total 11 prisoners released.
