Islamabad: Several members of the banned Action Committee have distanced themselves from the group in recent months, rejecting its violent narrative. The violent narrative of the banned Joint Action Committee has prompted its core members as well as other members to reconsider their stance.
According to Radio Pakistan, their dissociation from violence and anti-state propaganda carried out in the name of public issues indicates serious differences within the outlawed Action Committee. The violent path adopted by the banned Action Committee has become unacceptable to some of its members.
From June 9 to August 1, members of the banned Action Committee, including Ehsan Shabbir, Raja Sultan, Raja Amjad Ali Khan, Anjum Zaman, Iftikhar Mahmood, Mehtab Ahmed, Rizwan, Muhammad Younis, Faisal Gilani, Muhammad Abid, Shahzad Lone, Muhammad Usman, and Saeed Amjad, announced their dissociation.
According to experts, the members' decision to distance themselves from violence and anti-state propaganda being carried out in the name of public issues reflects serious internal differences within the outlawed Action Committee.
