Shahbaz Sharif went to residences of those killed in Gulshan Iqbal Park tragedy and expressed deep sense of grief and sorrow with the bereaved families

Lahore, March 30, 2016 (PPI-OT):Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif went to the residences of those killed in Gulshan Iqbal Park tragedy, today evening, and expressed deep sense of grief and sorrow with the bereaved families over the deaths of persons in this tragic incident. First, Chief Minister went to the house of girl Shazia at Bostan Colony and expressed condolences with father of Shazia, Muhammad Riaz and injured brother Zulfiqar. He also prayed for the departed soul.

Talking to the heirs of Shazia, Shahbaz Sharif said that menace of terrorism will be eliminated and he will continue to fight against terrorists. He said brutal beasts who have killed innocent persons will be held accountable for every drop of blood. The Chief Minister directed free treatment of injured boy Zulfiqar and added that Punjab government will pay Rs. 25 thousand per month till his complete recovery.

Talking to the father of a girl killed in the incident, Shahbaz Sharif said that he is grieved over the death of his daughter. He also gave a cheque of financial assistance to the father of the girl. Later, Shahbaz Sharif went to the house of only brother of five sisters Usman, who died in Gulshan Iqbal Park blast, at Singhpura, China Scheme and expressed condolences with his parents.

He also prayed for the departed soul. The Chief Minister was moved to tears while listening about Usman from her mother and five sisters. He also gave a cheque of financial assistance to the heirs and announced government job to one sister of the deceased. He also directed free treatment of ailing father of Usman.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that he has no words to express grief and agony. Those who have committed this cruelty will be held accountable, he added. Shahbaz Sharif promised that he will not hesitate to sacrifice his life for eliminating terrorists. Talking to father of Usman, Shahbaz Sharif said that he cannot bring his son back but elimination of terrorists has become mission of his life.
