Sindh Minister for Information, Transport and Mass Transit Sharjeel Inam Memon says provincial government is making serious efforts to upgrade the public transport system in Karachi city.
Talking to World Bank’s Senior Transport Specialist Lincoln Flor in Karachi on Friday, he said, recently, People’s Bus Service was launched on major common routes of the city with a cost of eight billion rupees to facilitate citizens.
On the occasion, Sharjeel Memon and World Bank’s Transport Specialist agreed on alternate proposals of BRT Yellow Line to facilitate the people.
World Bank representative assured all possible support to the Sindh government in developing Karachi’s public transport infrastructure.
