Spokesperson of Prime Minister’s Office clarifies a news report
Islamabad: The Spokesperson of Prime Minister’s office while clarifying a news-report circulated in the Media regarding the incident in Rahim Yar Khan said that the fact of the matter was that the Honourable Court gave the verdict in favour of late Syed Israr Hussain Shah, the father-in-law of the Prime Minister according to the court orders issued today.
The Spokesperson further added that the issue of the land dispute which belonged to the late Syed Israr Hussain Shah was forcibly occupied by certain local people in Rahim Yar Khan. The occupation of land was challenged in the Court of law during the life time of late Syed Israr Hussain Shah.
While the Court orders were being implemented in the presence of the bailiff of Court today the spokesperson said, the same group of people accompanied by some political elements started agitation in a nearby crossing. The same demonstration was picked up by a section of the Press which might try to give an impression that the occupants were removed illegally therefore, the facts are being placed on record.
