Islamabad: Sri Lanka Women defeated Pakistan Women by eight wickets in the third and final One Day International in Hambantota today to win the three-match series two-one. According to Radio Pakistan, Pakistan Women batted first after winning the toss and were all out for one hundred and eighty-seven runs in forty overs. Sri Lanka Women, in response, successfully chased down the target, scoring one hundred and ninety-one runs for the loss of two wickets in thirty-seven point two overs. The two teams will now face off in a three-match Twenty20 International series in Dambulla, starting from Friday.
