The Honourable Chief Justice welcomed the Members of the Supreme Court Bar and reassured them that both the Bar and the Bench are geared towards one and only one goal and that is to provide easy, quick and substantial justice to the people of Pakistan. Honourable Chief Justice reiterated the fact that despite less number of Judges available in the superior judiciary, all out efforts are being made to dispose of cases in an appropriate manner to the satisfaction of the litigant parties. The Honourable Chief Justice desired that learned Members of the Bar should discourage frivolous litigation as it not only causes choking of judicial system but also results into delay in the disposal of cases. The Members of the delegation agreed to this observation and further proposed that cost should be imposed to discourage this trend.
