Kolkata: New Zealand defeated South Africa in the first semi-final of the ICC T-20 World Cup, winning by nine wickets.
According to Radio Pakistan, South Africa batted first and posted a total of 169 runs for the loss of eight wickets in their allotted twenty overs.
In response, New Zealand successfully chased down the target in just 12.5 overs, losing only one wicket in the process.
