Lahore: Minister for National Food Security and Research Rana Tanveer Hussain has emphasized the importance of developing strong linkages between the agriculture and industrial sectors to foster sustainable economic growth in the country.

According to Radio Pakistan, Rana Tanveer Hussain, while addressing a ceremony in Lahore on Sunday, highlighted the need for collaboration between agricultural research institutes and industrial organizations to achieve balanced development. He underscored that environment-friendly industrial development is a key target of the government.

Discussing agricultural inputs, the Minister stated that increasing local production of these inputs is a top priority for the government. He announced that a National Input Supply Strategy is being formulated to address this issue.
