Technical Textiles Offer enormous opportunities to Pakistani Businessmen: Pak Ambassador to Germany
Islamabad: Pakistan’s Ambassador to Germany Mr. Shahid Kamal has said that there is a great demand of technical textile and non-woven products and the Pakistani Businessmen should heed to this specialized sector to seize business opportunities available in Europe and other parts of the world.
He was talking to Pakistani businessmen who participated this year in the world’s leading Techtextil Trade Fair in Frankfurt. 03 companies from Pakistan participated in the Fair. Mr. Kamal hoped that the next event in 2013 would see a substantial increase with more companies realizing the advantages of including the interesting range of technical textiles in their product range, says a press release received here today from Berlin.
Earlier the Ambassador visited the Information booth of Consulate General of Pakistan and took a round of the Exhibition. He called on Mr. Detlef Braun, Director of the Board of Frankfurt Exhibition Centre. Mr. Braun briefed the Ambassador about various facilities being provided to the exhibitors to promote world trade. He assured that the Frankfurt Messe (Exhibition Centre) would continue to support efforts of Government of Pakistan to promote Pakistani businesses in the global market. Mr. Kamal thanked Mr. Braun for the support and cooperation extended to Pakistani exhibitors and for providing space to the Consulate General Pakistan for setting up Information Booth free of cost.
Techtextil and Texprocess Trade Fairs that opened on May 24 pulled a large number of buyers and visitors this year. A total of 1207 exhibitors from different countries displayed their technical textile and non-woven products whereas 330 companies put on display machines and plants for processing textile and other flexible material in the Texprocess Trade Fair, which closed today.
