Multan: Minister for Railways Muhammad Hanif Abbasi has announced a plan to lay a 105-kilometer track for connecting Thar Coal to the railway network. Talking to the media, he highlighted that the proposed project is expected to save two billion dollars annually.
According to Radio Pakistan, the Minister revealed that the railway system will be modernized to facilitate the transportation of coal from Thar. He also mentioned that an agreement worth 2.5 billion dollars has been signed with the Asian Development Bank for the upgradation of the Rohri-Karachi railway track.
