Third Spell of Monsoon rains likely to start from Thursday
Islamabad: Met Office informed that, monsoon currents are penetrating into upper parts of the country; Third spell of Monsoon rains is expected to start from Thursday that would produce scattered rain with dust-thundershowers in upper and central parts of the country for 2-3 days.
According to met office scattered rain with thundershowers is expected in upper Punjab (Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore, Sargodha, Faisalabad and Sahiwal divisions), upper Khyber Pukhtoonkhawa (Peshawar, Hazara, Malakand and Kohat divisions) and Kashmir from Thursday to Saturday. Isolated heavy falls also likely in Northeast Punjab (Gujranwala, Lahore and Sargodha divisions).
However hot and humid weather is expected in most parts of the Sindh and Balochistan during the period.
