Srinagar, March 07, 2013 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League (JKPL) has said that the Indian government has given a free hand to its troops to kill innocent people of Kashmir. The JKPL spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar said that Indian troops were perpetrating gross human rights abuses in the territory with impunity. “Such incidents have become a routine and common man is very insecure”, he added.

He also denounced the killing of an innocent youth, Tahir Ahmad Sofi of Baramulla by Indian troops and 50 others youths wounded by firing in different areas of the occupied territory.

He deplore that forces raided the house of JKPL Chairman, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza and harassed his family members. He said that the residents of the territory were facing the worst kind of state terrorism.

Meanwhile, the Chairman of Islamic Political Party Jammu and Kashmir Mohammad Yousuf Naqash in his statement condemned the cold-blooded murder of yet another young scholar of Indian occupied Kashmir Tahir Ahmad Sofi by Indian army and said that the unabated state terrorism at the behest of Indian colonial rulers would invite them more curse, insult and condemnation as they have virtually converted Kashmir into hell.

He said that Indian colonial rulers were perpetuating brutal repression to crush the sentiment of freedom of Kashmiri people but Indian colonial rulers, their state agents, puppet administrations and lakhs of armed forces would never succeed in breaking the resolve of Kashmiri people.

He said that people of Kashmir would very soon get rid of the colonial rule and oppression of India due to the supreme sacrifices of our great martyr’s perpetual resistance of our valiant Mujahedeen and pro-freedom people and will very met with insulting defeat in Kashmir. These colonial rulers of India can never crush the mission freedom as every Kashmiri hates India and do not want any association with it.
