UBG to win FPCCI elections for the third time: Abdul Rauf Alam


Karachi, December 13, 2016 (PPI-OT): The Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) on Tuesday said United Business Group (UBG) is to sweep approaching elections of the Apex chamber for the third time.

All the contestants of UBG are representatives of the business community while the presidential candidate Zubair Tufail enjoys unparalleled respect due to his integrity, expertise and will to serve the community, said Abdul Rauf Alam, President FPCCI.

In a statement issued here today, he said that UBG is united and it has become a choice of voters due to its selfless services and interest in resolving the issues of business community.

Abdul Rauf Alam said that he also get elected on the ticket of UBG and tried best to come up to the expectations of the business community as well as national business leaders SM Muneer and Iftikhar Ali Malik.

He said that majority of business chambers and trade associations have already announced their support for the UBG because we have always kept our doors open for the businessmen.

The president FPCCI said that during last one year he completed the FPCCI Capital House, resolved many outstanding issues and represented Pakistan on dozens of international forums.

He said that he served the business community to the best of his abilities so that they can play their due role in the national development with peace of mind.

The veteran business leader said that election is a temporary phase after which the business community must unite to make Pakistan a developed country as we share the issues and aspirations.

He hoped that Zubair Tufail and his team will work with full zeal and dedication after winning upcoming FPCCI elections for the shared goal of prosperity.
