WAPDA won 12th National Women Karate Championship, 2018

Sahiwal, December 02, 2018 (PPI-OT): 12th National Women Karate Championship ended at Sports Gymnasium Hall, Sahiwal. Teams from all the affiliated units of Pakistan Karate Federation WAPDA, Army, Railways, Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan, KP and Islamabad participated in the championship.

WAPDA defended the trophy and is the Winner of 12th National Women Karate by winning Seven Gold and one Silver Medal with 175 Points. Army won Two Gold, Three Silver, Two Bronze Medals and secured second position with 90 Points. Punjab and Balochistan both shared third position with 55 points by winning Two Silver and Three Bronze Medals.

In this championship Ms. Nargis Asian Bronze Medalist bagged three gold medals in the events of Team Kata, Team Kumite and above 68 KGs. Mr. Asad Ali Khan Baloch, City Mayor Sahiwal was the chief guest and Rana Zamrud Sultan, Director Ajwa Developers and Builders was the guest of honor at closing Ceremony of the championship. They distributed medals, shield and trophies among the winners.
