Widespread Rains/Snow predicted from Sunday to Tuesday Heavy Snowfall expected over the hills on Monday/Tuesday
Islamabad, February 01, 2013 (PPI-OT): Pakistan Meteorological Department predicted that an active weather system is likely to approach western parts of Pakistan on Saturday and it would produce widespread rain/snow with heavy falls in the country from Sunday to Tuesday.
Widespread rain (with isolated heavy falls in Makran and Kalat divisions) is expected in the province on Sunday and Monday. Isolated snowfall is also expected over the hills of northern Baluchistan during the period.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP)
Widespread rain (with scattered heavy falls in Peshawar, Kohat, Hazara and Malakand divisions) is expected in the province from Sunday to Tuesday. Heavy snowfall is also expected over the hills of Malakand and Hazara divisions on Monday and Tuesday.
Widespread rain (with scattered heavy falls in Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Sargodha divisions and Islamabad) is expected over upper Punjab on Monday and Tuesday while at scattered places over southern Punjab during the period. Heavy snowfall is predicted in Murree on Monday and Tuesday.
Scattered rain over upper Sindh (Sukkar and Larkana divisions) and isolated rain in lower parts of the province on Sunday/Monday.
Widespread rain/snow with scattered heavy falls from Sunday to Wednesday.
