IIOJK: DFP condemns systematic killing of Kashmiri youth by Indian troops

In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party (DFP) has strongly condemned the killing of innocent Kashmiri youth in fresh acts of state terrorism by Indian troops.

The DFP in a statement issued in Srinagar termed the ruthless killing of Kashmiris as part of the Narendra Modi-led fascist Indian government’s systematic genocide campaign in IIOJK.

The DFP urged the UN and world human rights organizations to play their role in stopping the bloodshed in IIOJK and impress upon India to resolve the Kashmir dispute in accordance with the relevant UN resolutions and Kashmiris’ aspirations.

Pannu reaffirms Sikh community’s resolve to free Indian Punjab from occupation

Chief of Sikh for Justice Gurpatwant Singh Pannu has reaffirmed Sikh community’s resolve to free Indian Punjab from India’s occupation.

Addressing a news conference via zoom from Toronto, he said India has been committing crimes against Sikhs since 1947and carried out genocide of Sikh people in 1984.

Quoting an example of a referendum in Scotland, Gurpatwant Singh Pannu said democracies and UN charter allow right to self-determination.

Sikh for Justice representative made it clear that our fight is not against a political party but it is against Indian oppression.

He said Khalistan Movement is aimed at liberating Punjab from Indian occupation and granting rights to the people, especially to the Sikh community.

He said Sikhs for Justice is organizing referendum to apprise the World conscience about voice of the Sikh people and how Indian oppressive regime is strangulating their human rights.

He said around 400,000 Sikh people participated in the referendum in UK and voted in favour of an independent State of Khalistan.

Replying to a question, Mr. Pannu said from January next year, we are also going to start a campaign in Indian Punjab, where every citizen, irrespective of his or her religion, can cast vote in the referendum.

US imposes sanctions on Iranian company for coordinating transport of Iranian drones to Russia

The United States has imposed sanctions on an Iranian company for coordinating transport of Iranian drones to Russia.

In a statement, The US Treasury Department said it designated Tehran-based Safiran Airport Services, accusing it of coordinating Russian military flights between Iran and Russia, including those associated with transporting drones, personnel and related equipment.

India drops one spot to 132 in 2021 Human Development Index

India has climbed down one spot in the Human Development Index of the United Nations Development Programme, ranking 132 out of 191 countries and territories.According to a report released by the United Nations Development Programme, the drop in the Index from 0.645 in 2019 to 0.633 in 2021 can be attributed to falling life expectancy.

Human Development Index is a measure of a nation’s health, education and standards of living and India has globally declined for two years in a row, 2020 and 2021.
