Islamabad: Minister for Education and Professional Training Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui has stressed the need for enhancing expertise in the fields of technology and skills to compete on a global level. He made these remarks while addressing a ceremony in connection with World Youth Skills Day organized by the National Vocational and Technical Training Commission.

According to Radio Pakistan, Dr. Siddiqui emphasized that Pakistan embodies determination and passion, noting that the pursuit of knowledge and truth aligns with the purpose of religion. He highlighted that the real competition is not internal, but with the rest of the world.

Speaking at the event, Chairman of the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan stated that Pakistan is in a phase where positive news is emerging globally. He mentioned that the country’s global image is improving, and many nations are eager to collaborate with Pakistan.

Khan also emphasized that while Pakistan has already demonstrated its strength in technology, it is now time to showcase its capabilities in the economic sector. The event gathered skilled youth from across the country, highlighting the nation’s commitment to advancing skill-based expertise.
