Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has announced that the electric buses will soon be introduced in Lahore. She announced this while inaugurating the remodelling project of Shahdara Metrobus Station in Lahore. On this occasion the Chief Minister reviewed the facilities available at Shahdara Metro Bus Station and appreciated the quality of construction works. In the briefing the Secretary Transport Informed the Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif that more than 176,000 people travel by metro bus service every day. The secretary said that a dedicated ticket counter for women has been set up for the first time in Shahdara metro bus station. Source: Radio Pakistan
