Finance Minister Represents Pakistan at AlUla Conference

AlUla: The AlUla Conference for Emerging Market Economies has commenced in AlUla city of Saudi Arabia. The conference is bringing together Finance Ministers, central bank governors, policymakers, and economic experts from around the world.

According to Radio Pakistan, Finance Minister Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb is representing Pakistan in the two-day high-level event on the special invitation of his Saudi counterpart, Mohammed Al-Jadaan. During the conference, Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb will take part in a high-level panel discussion on ‘Navigating the Path for Resilient Emerging Markets’. This session will be moderated by IMF Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva and will also include Finance Ministers from Egypt, Brazil, and Trkiye.

The conference is jointly organized by the International Monetary Fund and the Saudi Ministry of Finance. It aims to foster discussions on building resilience and sustainable economic growth amid global economic uncertainties. The event is featuring 200 participants and 36 speakers, with representatives from 48 countries in attendance.
