A free Autism Training Camp was organized by the Force Command Northern Areas under the Outreach Programme in Gahkuch area of Gilgit-Baltistan. Twenty-eight youth having different skills participated in the camp, besides they were also given lectures about Autism awareness. Seven children were diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) during the screening and their parents were also taken into confidence about this disease in their children. Parents and other participants of the camp lauded the services of Pakistan Army in arranging these kinds of camps free of cost and demanded more such camps in other areas as well.
