Islamabad: Iranian Ambassador to Pakistan, Dr Reza Amiri Moghadam, has expressed deep sorrow over the tragic loss of lives caused by heavy monsoon rains in various parts of Pakistan and reaffirmed Iran’s readiness to assist Pakistan.
According to Radio Pakistan, in a message posted on his official account on social media platform ‘X’, the Ambassador said the Islamic Republic of Iran is ready for any assistance to the government and people of the brotherly and neighboring country.
Dr Reza Amiri Moghadam offered prayers for the swift recovery of those injured in the floods.
He said as rescue and relief efforts continue across flood-hit areas, Iran’s gesture of solidarity highlights the strong humanitarian bond and close bilateral ties between the two neighboring nations.
