Islamabad: Pakistan is witnessing a historic increase in IT exports and revolutionary progress towards a digital economy due to joint efforts by the SIFC and Ministry of Information Technology.
According to Radio Pakistan, Pakistan’s IT exports reached a record high of 3.8 billion dollars at the end of the fiscal year 2024-25. This significant growth has contributed to strengthening Pakistan’s identity on the global stage, marked by an eighteen percent increase in IT, IT-enabled services, and freelancer exports.
With these developments, Pakistan is on track to achieve its ambitious target of fifteen billion dollars in IT exports by 2030. The ongoing efforts and strategic collaborations highlight the country’s commitment to becoming a major player in the global digital economy.
