A mild earthquake of five point seven magnitude on Richter Scale jolted Peshawar and other parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa this afternoon.
According to Pakistan Meteorological Department, the epicenter of the earthquake was one hundred and eighty-seven kilometers deep in Hindu Kush region in Afghanistan.
No loss of life and property was so far reported.
