Police in Punjab have arrested 3,368 law breakers and miscreants involved in violent acts of vandalism throughout the province.

In a statement on Monday, the spokesperson Punjab Police said the miscreants of a political party injured 162 police officers and personnel during the violent riots and attacks.

He said the violent political party workers caused serious damage to over 94 police vehicles.

It was informed that a total of twenty-two police stations and offices and government buildings were damaged.

IGP Punjab Dr Usman Anwar said the miscreants involved in violence against public and private property, police and citizens, cannot escape the law.
