Poverty Alleviation and Social Security Division has disbursed over two hundred and six billion rupees in the last fiscal year for different pro-poor initiatives under the Ehsaas Program.

According to three years performance 179 billion rupees disbursed among 14.8 million families in 2020 under the Ehsaas Emergency Cash-I while 48 billion rupees will be disbursed to 40 million additional families under Ehsaas Emergency Cash-II.

This is in addition to the seven million families being enrolled under the Kafaalat Programme.

Ehsaas has also completed its first-ever computer aided door-to-door survey all over the country to gather data of the socioeconomic status of households.

The largest ever need and merit-based Ehsaas Undergraduate Scholarship program has granted 50,762 scholarships worth 4.8 billion rupees to the brilliant students in the first year of program.
