Pakistan, World Bank sign agreement worth $85m PHFP

Pakistan and the World Bank have signed the agreement worth of 85 million dollars Pakistan Housing Finance Project (PHFP) aimed at benefiting the low and middle income household.

Minister for Economic Affairs, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq witnessed the signing ceremony in Islamabad.

Speaking on the occasion, Acting Country Director of the Bank, assured the World Bank’s continuous financial and technical assistance to the Government of Pakistan to help promote inclusive and sustainable economic growth.

Minister for Economic Affairs reiterated the parameters of valued partnership with the World Bank.
