Pakistan’s Ambassador to the United States, Masood Khan, has warned that the situation in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir is very turbulent, and it poses a serious threat of escalation of tensions between Pakistan and India.
In an interview with Newsweek, he said there is a looming possibility that the two countries can turn to their strategic arsenals if a war erupts.
Masood Khan said the Indian aggression had led to the first Indo-Pakistan war. He said since then the two nations have fought three more major conflicts with even more frequent clashes occurring across the Line of Control in the disputed Kashmir region.
