Two-Day National-Level Simulation Exercise Begins in Islamabad

Islamabad: National Disaster Management Authority has commenced a two-day national-level Simulation Exercise in Islamabad. The purpose of exercise is to enhance preparedness and strengthen coordination among federal and provincial institutions in responding to climate-induced disasters.

According to Radio Pakistan, Minister for Climate Change Musadik Malik attended the opening day and appreciated NDMA’s proactive approach in conducting such simulations to prepare for seasonal and glacial hazards. The exercise will conclude tomorrow with further evaluations and technical sessions.
