Unruly mob sets BJP office on fire in Manipur

In India, an unruly mob has set on fire an office of the Hindu Nationalist Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the restive state of Manipur.

The angry mob also resorted to burning tyres and blocking the Indo-Myanmar Highway using logs and electric poles.

Indian forces fired bullets, teargas shells and mock bombs to disperse the protesters.
