Vibrant festivities mark Sindhi Cultural Day at PNCA

The Pakistan National Council of Arts today buzzed with vibrant festivities as it hosted the Sindhi Cultural Day celebrations.

The event, focused on showcasing Sindhi heritage, underscored the significance of cultural harmony and women’s empowerment across diverse backgrounds.

Minister for Education and Professional Training Madad Ali Sindhi presided over the event, while Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Murtaza Solangi graced it as the chief guest, adding distinction to the cultural program.

The event’s theme centered on promoting cultural harmony, highlighting women’s roles in addressing global warming, and empowering women from various walks of life.

Captivating tableaus and insightful panel discussions unfolded, depicting the diversity of Sindhi culture and addressing crucial topics such as cultural harmony, peace, women’s roles in climate change, and gender equality through empowerment.

Gulnaz Sheikh, the founder of Soormiyun, emphasized the enduring impact of such programs. Grounded in Sufi traditions, she highlighted Soormiyun’s commitment to spreading the messages of cultural diversity, love, peace, and gender equality within cultural values by empowering women.

These celebrations not only showcased Sindhi cultural richness but also reflected a collective commitment to fostering a society marked by inclusivity and empowered women.
