Govt committed to improve economic infrastructure of country: Governor Sindh

Sindh Governor Imran Ismail says the government is committed to improve the economic infrastructure of the country.

He was chairing a high level meeting of Sindh Industrial Liaison Committee in Karachi.

Issue related to shortage of gas and its distribution were came under the discussion in meeting.

Sindh governor assured the industrialists that he will highlight this issue with federal government in order to resolve it as soon as possible.

Members of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry and delegations of different industrial associations of Karachi were present in the meeting.

New districts, tehsils being established for administrative improvement: CM Buzdar

Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar has said that new districts and tehsils are being established in the province for administrative improvement.

Talking to media persons at Dera Ghazi Khan, he said that a special committee has been constituted to finalize their recommendation in this regard.

He said that one hundred thirty thousand vacancies lying vacant in Punjab would be filled in various phases.

He said that jobless literate youth have been given further age relaxation of two years for government jobs.

KP approves amendments in Police Service Rules for women police personnel

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Mahmood Khan in Peshawar approved amendments to Police Service Rules to relax participation criteria for women police personnel representing minorities belonging to the merged districts and other difficult areas.

The Cabinet meeting also approved supplementary grant of 800 million rupees for integrated areas and KP Censorship of Motion Picture Rules 2021.

Approval was also extended to approve new fee schedules for the issuance of computerized driving licenses, regulation of online goods trading companies, amendments to the EATA Ordinance, the policy framework for public sector companies, and maternity benefits rules 2021.
