Bushra Bibi leading campaign against country’s institutions: Marriyum

Minister for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb says the statements of PTI leaders have endorsed the fact that Bushra Bibi is heading the social media team.

In a statement on Monday, she said they admitted in their press conference that the wife of former Prime Minister Imran Khan is leading campaign against country’s institutions.

The Minister said Bushra Bibi is using such tactics to hide her corruption cases.

Hajj Mission remained successful in ensuring all arrangements for pilgrims: Mufti Shakoor

Minister for Religious Affairs Mufti Abdul Shakoor says entire Islamic world is appreciative of the leadership role of Saudi Arabia and its continued financial support for economically weaker Muslim countries.

Speaking at the inaugural session of Hajj Symposium in Makkah, he said Hajj is a great reflection of unity of Muslim Ummah with representation of entire Islamic World.

The Minister also lauded the efforts of Custodian of Two Holy Mosques King Salman Bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman for resumption of Hajj rituals after two years of COVID-19 restrictions.

He said Saudi Government has utilized Information Technology efficiently for the Hajj arrangements this year including Mobile App and E-Visa for the convenience of pilgrims.

Mufti Abdul Shakoor said Pakistan Hajj Mission in Makkah remained successful in ensuring all necessary arrangements for pilgrims including transportation, meals and accommodation.

PM, MoS Khar discuss issues pertaining to foreign affairs, regional diplomacy

Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Hina Rabbani Khar called on Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in Islamabad on Monday.

During the meeting, the Minister of State briefed the Prime Minister about Pakistan’s participation in the recent Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting in Kigali, Rwanda.

Matter pertaining to foreign affairs and regional diplomacy were also discussed in the meeting.
