Rescue, relief operations underway in flood-hit areas of Gwadar

In Balochistan, Pakistan Army in coordination with other concerned departments has been continuing rescue and relief operations in flood-affected areas of Gwadar.

The aid provided by the Army to the public includes 3281 aid packages of 50 tons of ration and medicines.

So far, 25 tons of ration has been distributed to more than 1470 families.

The Army established 17 flood relief medical camps and 15 mobile medical camps in different areas to facilitate the people. More than 4783 patients including men, women and children were treated.

Awareness brochures were also distributed among local people for precautionary measures.
