Sixteenth death anniversary of painter artist Eqbal Mehdi was observed today. Eqbal Mehdi's enormous body of work includes portraits, horses, Moorish street scenes and landscapes. He is recepient of President's Award for Pride of Performance. He died due to kidney failure on this day in Rawalpindi and buried in Karachi. Source: Radio Pakistan
