Pakistan slams India’s decision to deny visas to blind cricketers

Pakistan deeply regrets non-issuance of visa to its blind cricket team by India for participation in the third T-20 World Cup Cricket Tournament for the Blind.

According to the spokesperson of Foreign Office, as a result of the Indian decision, Pakistani players would be deprived of the opportunity to participate in an international sporting event of special significance.

The tournament is being played in India on 5-17 December 2022.

PM urges world to take note of rising religious hatred in India

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has urged the world community to take note of rising religious hatred in India.

In a tweet on Tuesday, he said a process of revisionism put into motion by Hindu extremists has now become a living nightmare for Indian Muslims and other minorities.

The Prime Minister said this in connection with 30th anniversary of demolition of historic Babri Mosque.

PM discusses country’s political situation with JUI-F Chief, CM Sindh

President Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F) Maulana Fazlur Rehman called on Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif in Islamabad on Tuesday.

They discussed political and overall situation of the country.

Meanwhile, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah also called on Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif in Islamabad on Tuesday.

During the meeting, overall political situation of the country and rehabilitation work in flood affected areas of Sindh province was discussed.

They agreed to further strengthen the coordination between the federal government and provincial government of Sindh for public welfare and development.
