Parliamentary Secretary for Planning, Development and Reforms Kanwal Shauzab says the PTI government, under its manifesto, is vigorously working to ensure implementation of laws related to women rights.

Talking to PTV News, she said the government has done a lot on the agenda of women empowerment and enacted laws to safeguard their property rights.

Kanwal Shauzab stressed upon full implementation of the protection of women bills in parliament, along with providing women a safe and better working environment at workplace.

Replying a query, she said women lawmakers in the National Assembly need to work jointly for full implementation of women related pending legislation.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Mahmood Khan says transparency and merit in the recruitment process is the priority of the government.

Presiding over a meeting in Peshawar today, he directed the concerned authorities to prepare a feasibility report for establishing a digital lab for Educational Testing and Evaluation Agency.

Chief Secretary Balochistan Mather Niaz Rana has directed concerned authorities to conduct a thorough investigation into the Gwadar suicide attack and submit a report as soon as possible.

After reviewing the security situation the attack in Gwadar and inspecting the site today, he said an integrated security plan should be formulated to ensure safety of lives and public properties.

He said that no one would be allowed to take the law into their hands.

The Chief Secretary said security of Chinese engineers working on different projects in the province including Gwadar would be further improved.
