Fifteen members of AJK cabinet take oath at ceremony in Muzaffarabad

Fifteen members of the AJK cabinet took oath at a ceremony in Muzaffarabad today (Thursday).

AJK President Barrister Sultan Mehmood Chaudhry administered oath to them.

Earlier, Azad Jammu and Kashmir Prime Minister Sardar Abdul Qayum Khan accorded approval to 15 members of the AJK cabinet.

A notification to this effect was issued in Muzaffarabad today.

The portfolios to the Ministers will be allotted later.

Govt committed to ensure equal rights, opportunities for women: Kamal

Chief Minister Balochistan Jam Kamal Khan has said that the present government is committed to ensure equal rights and opportunities for women.

Talking to the Chairperson, National Commission on the Status of Women Nelofar Bakhtiar who called on him in Quetta, Jam Kamal said that a Women Commission will be established in Balochistan soon.

The Chief Minister added that 17 new colleges for girls are being constructed in various parts of the province to ensure provision of educational opportunities to the female students at their doorsteps.

He said that the plan for setting up the Women Economic Fund has been included in the budget of the current financial year.
