KP: Crackdown continues against unvaccinated people, violators of corona SOPs

In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, actions against unvaccinated people and violators of corona SOPs is in full swing.

In Bannu, Dera Ismail Khan, Abbottabad, Mansehra and Tank, the teams of district administration checked the corona certificates of people at various bus terminals, shopping malls, and public places.

Eight people were arrested and fourteen shops were sealed in Bannu.

In Dera Ismail Khan and Abbottabad notices were issued to unvaccinated shopkeepers and people.

In Mansehra, the teams of District Administration fined the violators of Corona SOPs.

Dengue prevention activities intensified across Punjab

Dengue prevention activities have been intensified across Punjab under the direction of Punjab Secretary Primary and Secondary Health Care.

In a statement on Sunday, the Secretary Imran Sikandar Baloch said health department continues operations across the province to eradicate dengue larvae and their breeding.

He said during the last 24 hours, 459 dengue patients have been reported from across the province.

He urged the people to take Precautionary measures against dengue and ensure cleanliness.

Met office predicts dry weather

Mainly dry weather is likely to prevail in most parts of the country during the next twelve hours.

However, rain wind-thunderstorm is expected at isolated places in upper Punjab, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir and Islamabad.

Temperature of some major cities recorded this morning:

Islamabad nineteen degree centigrade, Lahore and Karachi twenty, Peshawar seventeen, Quetta eight, Gilgit eleven, Murree fifteen and Muzaffarabad thirteen degree centigrade.

According to Met Office forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Partly cloudy weather with chances of rain-thunderstorm is expected in Srinagar, Jammu, Leh, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian and Baramulla.

Temperature recorded this morning: Srinagar nine degree centigrade, Jammu nineteen, Leh two, Pulwama and Baramulla eight, Anantnag, and Shopian seven degree centigrade.

Governor House Peshawar opened for families on Eid-Milad-Un-Nabi (SAWW)

The Governor House Peshawar has been opened for families on the occasion of Eid-Milad-Un-Nabi (SAWW).

Besides families, female students of colleges and universities can also visit governor house from 10 am to 4 pm till 12th Rabi-ul-Awwal.

The facility of lunch is also being provided to the visiting families and students.

Similarly, Tilawat and Hamd-o-Nath were presented on this occasion.

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has decided to hold ‘Seerat Conference’ in Peshawar tomorrow where a large number of Ulema, religious scholars, Government officials and the general public will attend the conference.

Khalid invites general public to attend Milad celebration at CM Secretariat

Chief Minister Gilgit-Baltistan Muhammad Khalid Khorsheed has said invited the general public to attend the Milad celebration to be held the whole night of 11 Rabi-ul-Awwal at Chief Minister Secretariat.

On the 12th Rabi-ul-Awwal, the participants will take out rallies.

He said the Government will provide food to the participants.

Khalid Khorsheed also invited former Chief Ministers, Ministers and notable irrespective of their affiliations to participate.

Indian Forces committing grave HR violations in IIOJ&K: Sarwar

Punjab Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar has said Indian Forces are committing grave human right violations and genocide of Kashmiris in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJ&K).

Addressing a Kashmir conference in Italy, he said India cannot suppress the voice of innocent Kashmiris.

The Governor also urged international community to end its silence on atrocities in IIOJ&K.

Addressing the conference, Chairman Kashmir Committee Shehryar Khan Afridi said Pakistan government, its all political parties and institutions are on same page on Kashmir issue.

He said self-determination is the due right of Kashmiris and nobody can deprive Kashmiris from their right.
