Mohsin Naqvi directs to make ‘Mera Pyara’ app functional soon

Punjab Caretaker Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi has directed to make Punjab Police App ‘Mera Pyara’ functional soon.

Chairing a meeting in Lahore today, he said work has begun to launch the App, through which lost children, elders, patients of dementia and schizophrenia will be returned to their families.

The meeting was told that the App would save bio data, finger prints, B-Form and CNIC details of lost persons while DNA tests will also be conducted to match the link.

Under the Chief Minister’s direction, a date of lost persons relating to FIRs will be prepared from police stations throughout Punjab.

PPP to observe death anniversary of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto on Tuesday

The Pakistan People’s Party will observe the 44th death anniversary of the party’s founding leader Zulfikar Ali Bhutto across the country with zeal and zest on Tuesday.

The PPP Central Punjab and PPP Lahore chapter will organize special programmes and Iftar parties on the day to pay tribute to the late leader.

In this regard, special ceremonies would be held at district, tehsil and union council levels.

“Paigham-e- Ramadan:” Experts hold in depth discussion on spirit of Ramadan

Radio Pakistan’s Special Ramadan transmission “Paigham-e- Ramadan” is setting new records of success.

The number of people participating telephonically in the special Ramadan transmission is increasing day by day. The transmission includes a rich discussion of experts on the spirit of Ramadan.

On the 10th day of the transmission on Saturday, renowned religious scholar Dr. Syed Asif Mehmood Bukhari said that the spirit of Ramadan is about forgiveness, taking care of each other and remembering the Almighty Allah.

Taking Part in the transmission, Pharmacist Sardar Shabbir Ahmed said that anyone who takes medication regularly should be assessed by a doctor before partaking in the Ramadan fast. This is particularly important for people with diabetes or unstable chronic conditions.

Naat Khawan Alishba Irshad Abbasi presented glowing tribute to the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad SAWW.
