PTI core committee expresses full confidence in PM’s leadership

A meeting of PTI core committee chaired by Prime Minister Imran Khan was held in Islamabad on Monday.

It discussed overall political situation of the country.

Later briefing media, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Chaudhry Fawad Hussain said that the PTI core committee has expressed full confidence in the leadership of the Prime Minister.

He said the core committee condemned the tactics being employed by the opposition parties to promote horse trading in the house.

Chaudhry Fawad Hussain said Prime Minister Imran Khan is fighting against multiple conspiracies.

He said Pakistan, under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan, has emerged as a country with an independent foreign policy.

The Minister said freedom of Pakistan will not be compromised and Imran Khan will not be blackmailed at any cost. He said opposition will be surprised with PTI moves.

He was confident that the allied parties will stand by the government.

Senior PTI leader Aamir Mehmood Kiani said that the public gathering to be organized by PTI at D-chowk will be historic and over one million people from across the country will attend.

Aamir Mehmood Kiani said the date of the gathering is to be decided by Prime Minister Imran Khan it will determine the future course of politics.

Covid-19 Infections rate continues to decline in Pakistan

The infection rate of Covid-19 continues to decline across the country as positivity ratio has fallen to one point seven zero percent.

According to statistics issued by National Command and Operation Centre today, two more deaths and 462 new positive cases of Covid-19 have been reported in the country.

The statistics said that 577 patients of Coronavirus pandemic are still in critical condition.

Reforms in education sector among top priorities of Govt: NA Speaker

Speaker National Assembly, Asad Qaisar says reforms in the education sector is among top priorities of the government.

Addressing a ceremony organized in the honor of retired teachers in Swabi, he said uniform curriculum would be implemented across the country this year.

Asad Qaiser said the single national curriculum is a vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan in order to unify the nation and ensure quality education for everyone.

He urged the teachers to pay special attention to the character building of students and prepare them for future challenges.

PM struggling for national integrity, sovereignty: Farrukh

Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Farrukh Habib says Prime Minister Imran Khan is struggling for the national integrity and sovereignty.

Talking to PTV, he said Imran Khan is an honest political leader who has not made properties abroad rather is steering the country out of crises.

Farrukh Habib said the government will defeat the opposition in the Parliament on the matter of no-confidence motion, as the treasury benches have badly defeated the opposition parties on many fronts.

Replying to a question, he said despite the increase in petroleum prices internationally, the Prime Minister announced incentives for the public by decreasingthe prices of petroleum and electricity.

The Minister of State said record development works have been done during the tenure of PTI government.

CPEC to improve connectivity among countries of region: Razak

Advisor to Prime Minister on Commerce, Investment and Industries Abdul Razak Dawood says China Pakistan Economic Corridor will improve connectivity among the countries of the region.

Addressing a ceremony in Karachi on Monday, he said that infrastructure has been improved under the CPEC project.

He said due to increase in regional connectivity, trade among countries in the region is increasing and trucks from Pakistan will go to Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan via Afghanistan next week.

Abdul Razak Dawood said that steps are being taken to stabilize national economy and focus is being given on increasing exports.
