فنون العلا تقدم معرض “رمي عيني” للفن المعاصر

ALULA, Saudi Arabia, Feb. 08, 2024 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — تعلن فنون العلا عن تقديم معرض “رمي عيني” بإشراف القيّمة الفنية الدكتورة عفت عبد الله فدعق وضيافة قاعة مرايا، وهو معرض لمجموعة من الأعمال الفنية المعاصرة في المملكة العربية السعودية تم استعارتها من المهتمّين بجمع الأعمال الفنية في المملكة. وسيعيد المعرض إحياء تاريخ حركات الفن المعاصر في المملكة العربية السعودية، وتوثيق قصص الفنانين المشاركين، مع التعريف بدور جامعي الأعمال الفنية في تطوير المشهد الفني. وسيقام المعرض خلال الفترة الممتدة من 9 فبراير إلى 27 أبريل 2024 بالتوازي مع مهرجان فنون العلا (9 فبراير – 2 مارس 2024). كما يعد المعرض جزءاً من البرنامج التمهيدي لافتتاح متحف “الفن المعاصر” في العلا وانعكاساً لطموح هذا المتحف.

يستكشف المعرض الروابط والتأثيرات والقصص المشتركة بين أجيال من الفنانين السعوديين، من خلال تقديم أعمال لعددٍ من عمالقة الفن السعودي، أمثال عبد الحليم رضوي ومحمد السليم ومنيرة موصلي؛ إلى جانب كوكبة من روّاد الفن المعاصر في المملكة بمن فيهم أحمد ماطر ومهند شونو ودانا عورتاني. تغطي كل مساحة من المعرض تخصصات متعددة ووسائط مختلفة، مع تحديد سياق الأعمال الفنية المشاركة عبر مجموعة من المواد الأرشيفية المرافقة لكل منها.

يحتفي معرض “رمي عيني” بأصحاب المجموعات الفنية الخاصة، والذين قدموا الرعاية والدعم والحماية اللازمة لأعمال روّاد حركة الفن المعاصر في المملكة العربية السعودية. كما أنه يشكل نقلة نوعية هامة نحو بناء المجموعات الفنية المؤسسية مثل افتتاح متحف “الفن المعاصر” في العلا، الذي سيلعب بمجرد افتتاحه، دوراً محورياً في توثيق ودعم الفن المعاصر داخل المملكة وخارجها. إذ يسعى المتحف إلى لعب دور أساسي في منظومة جمع الأعمال الفنية في المملكة العربية السعودية، فضلاً عن التعاون مع جامعي الأعمال الفنية من جميع أنحاء المملكة والعمل مع قيّميين فنيين، مثل الدكتورة عفت عبد الله فدعق، لاستكشاف منظومة جمع الأعمال الفنية بشكل أكبر.

يعد المعرض المرتقب جزءاً لا يتجزأ من سلسلة من المعارض التي ترمي إلى بناء علاقة طويلة الأمد بين الهيئة الملكية لمحافظة العلا ورعاة الفنون في المملكة العربية السعودية. شكل معرض “ما يبقى في الأعماق” الذي أقيم عام 2022 باكورة معارض هذه السلسلة، الذي قدم أهم الأعمال الفنية التي جمعتها راعية الفن السعودي بسمة السليمان في مجموعتها الفنية الخاصة.

Mohsin Naqvi virtually lays foundation stones of smart police stations

Caretaker Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Naqvi has virtually laid the foundation stones of forty smart police stations across the province.

Speaking on this occasion in Lahore today, he said 22 smart police stations will be established in Lahore while 18 will be built in other cities.

He said Special Dispute Resolution Centers will also be set up in smart police stations.

Mohsin Naqvi said the smart police station will have separate entrances for men and women.

Govt to provide facility of health card soon in GB

The Government will provide the facility of health card soon in Gilgit-Baltistan.

In his statement, Minister for Health Gilgit Baltistan Syed Sohail Abbas has said Caretaker Federal Government has approved the restoration of health card facility in ECNIC meeting for Gilgit-Baltistan.

According to the information department of the GB, more than 67,000 patients were provided with free treatment in government and private hospitals due to the health facility card in Gilgit-Baltistan.

People reject agenda of enemies of country: Jan Achakzai

Caretaker Balochistan Information Minister Jan Achakzai has said the people have rejected the agenda of the enemies of the country and the polling process is going on peacefully across the province.

In a tweet, he said that terrorist elements tried to disrupt the election process but failed in their nefarious intentions.

Jan Achakzai said that the militant organizations are not the representatives of the brave people of Balochistan. Rather, they want to destabilize Balochistan and on the behest of India.

Caretaker Interior Minister reviews polling process

Caretaker Interior Minister Dr. Gohar Ejaz visited a polling station on Adiala road Rawalpindi this afternoon and reviewed the polling process.

Speaking on this occasion, he said casting vote is our national responsibility and every citizen should fulfill it diligently.

Dr Gohar Ejaz expressed the confidence that the elected representatives of the nation would soon assume their responsibilities to run affairs of the government.

He lauded the measures taken by the Election Commission and the local administration.

Earlier, Caretaker Interior Minister Dr. Gohar Ejaz visited Control Room established at the Interior Ministry and different polling stations in Islamabad to review the polling process.

During the visit, he was briefed about security situation during the elections.

Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said polling is underway smoothly and no untoward incident has been reported so far.

He said polling process is being closely monitored and no one will be allowed to take law into their hands.

Meanwhile, Gohar Ejaz also visited Safe City Islamabad along with Head of the Commonwealth Observer Mission Dr Goodluck Jonathan.
