KP Governor approves summary of provincial cabinet members

Fifteen Ministers and five Advisers’ name have been approved for provincial cabinet of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

According to details, Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa approved the summary of the cabinet members moved by Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur in Peshawar today.

The cabinet Ministers include MPAs Arshad Ayub Khan, Shakeel Ahmad, Fazal Hakim, Muhammad Adnan Qadri, Aqib Ullah, Muhammad Sajjad, Meena Khan, Fazal Shukoor, Nazir Ahmad Abbasi, Pukhtoon Yar, Aftab Alam, Khaleeq Ur Rehman, Qasim Ali Shah, Faisal Tarakai and Muhammad Zahir Shah.

The Advisers to Chief Minister include Barrister Saif, Syed Fakhar Jehan, Muzammil Aslam, Mashal Azam and Zahid Chanzeb.

Over 35m people to benefit from Ramadan Negahban Package: Maryam

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has said that over thirty-five million deserving people of Punjab will benefit from Ramadan Negahban Package.

Addressing a press conference in Lahore today, she said people will not have to stand in lines for Ramadan packages during fasting days but the packages will be delivered to everyone at his doorstep.

Chief Minister Gilgit-Baltistan Haji Gulbar Khan has directed concerned officials to utilize all resources to restore are roads an soon as possible.

Chairing a meeting at Gilgit today, he also directed for immediate repair of electricity poles, transmission lines and power houses damaged by rains and landsides.

Punjab Cabinet sworn in at Governor House in Lahore

Eighteen member Punjab Cabinet took oath at Governor House in Lahore today.

Governor Punjab Muhammad Baleegh-ur-Rehman administered the oath to them.

The members of cabinet who took oath include Maryam Aurangzeb-Senior Minister, Azma Bukhari, Syed Muhammad Ashiq Hussain, Muhammad Kazim Peerzada, Rana Sikandar Hayat, Khawaja Salman Rafique, Khawaja Imran Nazir, Zeeshan Rafique, Bilal Akbar Khan, Bilal Yaseen, Ramesh Singh Arora, Khalil Tahir Sindhu, Faisal Ayub, Sohaib Ahmad Malik, Shaafey Hussain, Sardar Sher Ali Gorchani, Sohail Shaukat Butt and Mujtaba Shuja ur Rehman.

Indian Hindu Yatrees cross Wagah Border for Maha Shivratri festivities in Pakistan

A delegation of Hindu Yatrees from India arrived in Pakistan via Wagah Border today to participate in celebrations of Hindu festival of Maha Shivratri.

Additional Secretary of Shrines, Rana Shahid Saleem, and Pakistani Hindu leaders warmly welcomed the delegation.

On this occasion, Additional Secretary of Shrines said, after their stay in Lahore today, the yatrees will leave for Katas Raj temple in Chakwal district tomorrow to participate in main event of Maha Shivratri on Saturday.

The Hindu leader Vishu Bajaj said Shri Katas Raj is very sacred to the Hindu community, and extended gratitude to the Pakistan government for foolproof arrangements.

The Hindu Yatrees will visit Krishna Temple in Lahore to perform their religious rituals in Lahore before returning to India on Tuesday.
