Ramadan Package hampers distributed among over 3 million families: CM Punjab

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif says Ramadan Negehban Package hampers have so far been distributed among over three million deserving families.

In a statement, she said provision of hampers to a total of six point four million deserving families will be completed in few days.

She said that all necessary measures have been taken to ensure transparency in the Nigehban Ramadan Package through QR Code and CNIC.

PM, MNAs discuss country’s overall political situation

Member National Assembly Sardar Shamsher Mazari and Member Provincial Assembly Khizar Mazari called on Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in Lahore today.

During the meeting, views were exchanged on overall political situation in the country and matters related to constituencies of the lawmakers.

Member National Assembly Muhammad Junaid Anwar also called on the Prime Minister.

Chairman Pakistan Ulema Council, Hafiz Muhammad Tahir Mehmood Ashrafi, has said the council is set to escalate its efforts on a global scale to foster interfaith dialogue and harmony.

Addressing international media in Islamabad, he emphasized that Islamophobia poses a grave threat to Muslims worldwide.

Tahir Ashrafi urged world powers to accelerate initiatives to eradicate Islamophobia, labeling it as a toxic barrier hindering interfaith harmony.

Expanding tax base vital for country’s economy: Punjab Governor

Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Establishment Division Ahad Khan Cheema held a meeting with Punjab Governor Baligh Ur Rehman in Lahore.

They discussed matters relating to increase foreign direct investment in the country and encouragement of local investors.

Tree plantation campaign in full swing across KP

Tree plantation campaign is in full swing across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

According to Provincial forest Department, more than twelve million saplings will be planted across the province during the campaign.

Two-hundred and twelve places have been selected where the tree plantation activities will be carried out.

Similarly, fourteen thousand saplings will be planted in seven economic zones of the province including Peshawar, Ghazi, Gadoon, Mohmand, Jalozai, Hattar and Bannu Economic Zones.

In a statement, the Chief Minister said special bags of Nigehban Ramadan Package have been delivered to more than three million deserving families.

She said delivery of these special bags to a total of six point four million deserving families will be completed soon.

Maryam Nawaz said transparency has been ensured in Nigehban Ramadan Package as QR Code has been printed on each bag to ensure transparency.

Passing out parade of soldiers of Special Conversion Group-7 held in Khuzdar

Passing out parade of soldiers of Special Conversion Group-7 was held at Frontier Corps Balochistan Training Academy, Khuzdar.

One hundred and thirteen personnel passed out in this 12-week training course of Special Conversion Group.

The soldiers exhibited excellence in the passing out parade and earned appreciation from the audience.

Commandant Kalat Scouts, who was the chief guest at the ceremony, gave prizes to the best performing soldiers.

On the occasion, the soldiers passionately took the oath to defend the motherland.
