CM Punjab advises riders to adhere to speed limit for safe travel

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz advised riders to adhere to the speed limit for safe travel.

She stated this while addressing a ceremony in Lahore today.

She directed rider companies to arrange safety gear for their riders.

She also directed the labour department to implement safety regulations regarding gear in letter and spirit.

She added that 20000 bikes will be provided to students on two year soft instalments.

Radio Pakistan’s Saut-ul-Quran Channel continues to enrich the Ramadan experience of its listeners through broadcast of Holy Quran with Urdu Translation.

People are tuning in to the FM-93.4 Saut-ul-Quran channel to douse their souls in the blessings of the Holy month.

The Saut-ul-Quran channel of Radio Pakistan has been airing the recitation of the Holy Quran with Urdu Translation since 2015. At present, broadcasts of Saut-ul-Quran channel can be accessed in 19 cities inclduing Islamabad, Lahore, Quetta, Multan, Faisalabad, Narowal, Bahawalpur, Hyderabad, Khairpur, Mithi, Gilgit, Skardu, Bannu, Dera Ismail Khan, Gwadar, Sibbi, Mirpur, Peshawar, and Karachi.

In the next phase, transmission of the Saut-ul-Quran channel will be extended to 19 more cities, which include Sialkot, Sargodha, Mianwali, Kallar Kahar, Faqirabad, Larkana, Bhit Shah, Landhi, Khuzdar, Loralai, Turbat, Zhob, Chitral, Abbottabad, Kohat, Noshehra, and Muzaffarabad.

CM Punjab visits residence of Lt. Col Syed Kashif Ali Shaheed at Chaklala

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz visited the residence of Lieutenant Colonel Syed Kashif Ali Shaheed at Chaklala in Rawalpindi and paid homage for his supreme sacrifice for the motherland.

He was martyred in the terrorist attack in Mir Ali Tehsil of North Waziristan.

Talking to the Shaheed’s Mother on this occasion, she said that your brave son made not only you but the entire nation proud.

Terming the brave sons of soil as the iron wall of safety, peace and security of country, the Chief Minister said that the entire nation will remain indebted and grateful for the sacrifices of the martyrs and their families.

Maryam Nawaz also offered fateha for the Shaheed and commiserated with the bereaved family of the martyr.

The Punjab Chief Minister also visited the residence of Captain Ahmed Badar Shaheed and met with parents and family members of the Shaheed.

Minister directs FGEHA management to ensure transparency

Minister for Housing and Works Mian Riaz Hussain Pirzada has said the government prioritizes provision of low-cost and affordable living opportunities for poor and vulnerable segments of society.

He was chairing a meeting of the Federal Government Employees Housing Authority in Islamabad.

The Minister emphasized the importance of ensuring that plots are allocated strictly on merit.

He urged the identification and removal of any irregularities to uphold transparency in the allotment process.

Commerce Minister assures industrialists to address their concerns

Minister for Commerce, Jam Kamal Khan has assured the industrialists of his commitment to safeguard their interests and address their concerns to support the local industry.

He was speaking at the meeting with representatives from the Sugar Mills Association in Islamabad aimed to find feasible solutions to the challenges faced by industrialists.

Jam Kamal vowed to prioritize the issues being faced by sugar mills and pledged to expedite efforts to address these challenges.

The Minister affirmed his continued support for the prosperity and development of industrial sector, underscoring its significance in driving economic progress and enhancing national resilience.

Govt seeking economic consensus with all political parties: Defence Minister

Defence Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif has said government is seeking economic consensus with all political parties to push the country towards economic prosperity.

Talking to a private news channel, he said that it is included in PML-N’s manifesto to give facilities to the interior areas of Punjab, Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and bring them at par with major cities.

The Minister said the government is taking steps to overhaul the fragmented tax system, ensuring businesses pay their tax in time, while also tackling electricity and gas theft to strengthen the economy.
