Finance Minister lauds Punjab CM’s measures for social welfare

Federal Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb held a meeting with Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz in Lahore today.

During the meeting, they discussed country’ economic situation besides matters of mutual interest.

The Finance Minister felicitated Maryam Nawaz on assuming charge as first woman Chief Minister of the province, terming it a milestone.

He also appreciated Punjab Chief Minister’s measures for social welfare.

Speaking on the occasion, Punjab Chief Minister expressed good wishes for Muhammad Aurangzeb on assuming charge as the Federal Finance Minister.

Govt to provide every possible facility to Turkish investors: CM Maryam

Turkish Ambassador to Pakistan, Mehmet Pacaci, called on Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif and PML-N Quaid Muhammad Nawaz Sharif in Lahore today.

They discussed issues of mutual interest and increasing cooperation in various fields.

PML-N Quaid Muhammad Nawaz Sharif said that the people of Pakistan and Turkiye are bound to each other in the relationship of Islamic brotherhood.

Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz said Pakistan and Turkiye want to increase cooperation in commercial, economic and other fields.

She said that the Punjab Government will provide all possible facilities to Turkish investors for investment in the province.

On the occasion, Turkish ambassador assured to increase cooperation with Punjab government in various fields.

Speaker strongly denounces Israel for Palestinians’ genocide

Speaker of National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq has strongly denounced Israel for the genocide of innocent Palestinians, including women, children, and the elderly.

Speaking at 148th Inter-parliamentary Union Assembly in Geneva, he expressed disappointment over inaction of the international community, particularly the UN Security Council, and called for an immediate and unconditional ceasefire and justice for Palestine.

He also expressed unwavering solidarity and pledged support for Palestinians in their just cause for a viable, independent, and contiguous state based on the pre-1967 borders, with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital.

Establishment of Pakistan’s largest IT Park in Islamabad approved under SIFC

The establishment of Pakistan’s largest IT Park in Islamabad has been approved under the auspices of Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC).

The IT Park will be established in G-10 sector of the federal capital on an area of 3.3. acre. It is a significant milestone for Pakistan’s Tech Land Scape, which will provide unprecedented opportunities for innovation and development.

This IT Park is a part of public-private partnership mode, under which about six thousand freelancers will be provided with the latest facilities.

The project aims to provide an environment where creativity and collaboration are encouraged in the IT industry.

Negotiations are underway with the Pakistan Software Export Board and the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication for the success of the IT Park project.
