FC foils bid to smuggle 379000 liters of Iranian diesel on Sindh-Balochistan border

Frontier Corps Balochistan (North) have foiled a bid to smuggle 379000 liters of Iranian diesel on Sindh-Balochistan border.

According to details, a grand action was taken against the smuggling mafia in the border areas of Sindh and Balochistan. Smugglers were trying to smuggle around 379000 liters of Iranian diesel to Sindh in 10 trucks, which was foiled by FC Balochistan (North). The seized illegal Iranian diesel is being handed over to the customs authorities after necessary action.

Bilawal pledges to get country out of crises if voted to power

PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has pledged to get country out of crises if voted to power.

Addressing a public gathering in Rawalpindi today, he said the PPP doesn’t believe in politics of hatred and division and it will end this forever as political stability is imperative for economic stability.

Bilawal Bhutto said his party and the people will jointly foil conspiracies against the country.

PMAP Chairman expresses resolve to improve living standard of people

Chairman Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party Mahmood Khan Achakzai has called for unity to put the country on the path of progress and prosperity.

Addressing a public gathering in Kan Metharzai today, he said Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party manifesto is to improve living standard of people in the province.

Mahmood Khan Achakzai said his party will provide education facilities and safe drinking water and job opportunities to youth.

Nawaz Sharif vows to put country on road to development, if voted to power

PML-N Quaid Muhammad Nawaz Sharif says his party manifesto focuses on the empowerment of youth by providing soft loans and through special programs.

Addressing a public gathering in Sialkot today, he said that if voted to power, his will put the country on the path of economic growth.

PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif expressed his resolve for the establishment of an Information Technology University in Sialkot. He stated that the national economy experienced record growth during the PML-N’s tenure and reiterated that PML-N will drive the economy forward after coming into power.

Chief Organizer of PML-N, Maryam Nawaz, said PML-N will fulfill all its promises with the general public.

Pakistan unveils tourism potential at Travel and Adventure Show, New York, 2024

Pakistan’s Ambassador to the United States Masood Khan inaugurated Pakistan’s pavilion at New York’s famed ‘Travel and Adventure Show’ that showcased the nation’s diverse tourism potential.

A 60-member delegation, including representatives of Pakistan Tourism Development Cooperation, Trade Development Authority of Pakistan and 24 private sector companies are participating in the event. The Travel and Adventure Show will feature live performances by artisans specializing in lacquer woodwork and traditional doll making.

It is pertinent to mention here that Building on the success of the previous year, Pakistan Pavilion received the ‘Best In-Show International Tourism Development’ award from the organizers of the event.

In his message, Minister of State for Tourism and Chairman PTDC Wasi Shah congratulated the team including all stakeholders for making the arrangements for setting up the ‘Pakistan Pavilion’ in this international travel fair. He hoped that all these effects will greatly contribute to attract
more foreign visitors to Pakistan.

At the inauguration ceremony of ‘Pakistan Pavilion’, Pakistan’s Ambassador to US, Ambassador Masood Khan highlighted the huge potential for tourism in Pakistan. He mentioned that Pakistan is home to ancient and modern civilizations and has the most beautiful touristic sites including picturesque snow-capped peaks, untouched coastal areas, vast deserts, and a rich cultural heritage all making the country as one of the top travel destinations in the world. Ambassador Masood Khan further said that members of the Pakistani community should boost tourism in their motherland by investing in this potentially lucrative sector.

The Travel and Adventure Show held in New York annually, is an ideal platform for interaction with visitors to top international and domestic travel destinations, tour operators, cruise lines, and travel providers.

ECP finalizes arrangements to provide information about polling stations through SMS to 8300

The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has finalized arrangements to provide comprehensive information about polling stations through SMS to 8300 starting tomorrow.

According to the spokesman of the commission, from tomorrow onwards, voters can acquire their voting information by sending their National Identity Card number via SMS to 8300.

This service enables each voter to know the name of their assigned polling station and other related voting details.

The spokesperson highlighted that there is a service fee of two rupees per SMS for this facility.

Punjab Govt assures to provide all facilities to Sikh Yatrees

Punjab government has assured to provide all possible facilities to Sikh Yatrees in the province.

A three-member Ministerial Delegation of Punjab government at a meeting with Sikh community in Canada today informed that a Special Tourism Portal has been created to facilitate Yatrees.

It was decided to establish five star hotels in Nankana Sahib and Kartarpur for Sikh community.

The Sikh pilgrims coming from abroad can obtain a complete Tourism Package and state security will also be provided to them.
